About me
I am a Graphic Designer based in Dubai - UAE, specializing in Web and Print Design. I build clean, appealing, and functional websites which comply with the latest web standards. I design with Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Express and InDesign. I hand code sites with XHTML, CSS, and little of JavaScript and PHP, using PsPad and TopStyle.
I am currently employed at The Tribe Digital, advertising agency.
About this site
This site was designed & built by Laco Janič (that’s me) using valid XHTML and CSS. The ‘Janicdesign’ logo is set with ITC’s commercial font family ‘Officina’, but with a bit of tweaking. Some effects that you can see on this website were easily achieved with small but very complex Java Script Library MooTools. You should give it a try. Colors were chosen with a little help from the wonderfull adobe utility kuler.
